Amie has been a part of our practice since June of 2023. She attended Butler High School and became a dental assistant in 2001, transitioning to the front desk a year later. Amie enjoys working with patients and finds it a pleasure to work for such a talented dentist as Dr. Howell. She strives to make every visit an enjoyable experience and brings a smile to each patient’s face.

Amie is a divorced mom of three and has three grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys decorating, crafting and watching University of Kentucky sports.

Elexia, known as Lexi, is a registered dental hygienist who joined our practice in May 2023. She graduated summa cum laude from the Western Kentucky University Dental Hygiene Program. What Lexi likes best about her work is Dr. Howell’s humor and the team-oriented atmosphere. She loves focusing on patient education to provide the necessary care to keep their smiles healthy.

In her free time, Lexi enjoys running long distances.

Carla has been a dedicated dental assistant since joining our practice in October 2016. She attended dental assisting school at Watterson College. Carla loves being part of a team and making her patients feel comfortable. With over 44 years of experience in dentistry, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.

Carla has been married to her husband, Kevin, for over 42 years, and they have an adult son. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading and working in her yard.
