Dr. James B. Howell
Dr. Howell has practiced in his St. Matthews office since 1998. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville School Of Dentistry and his undergraduate degree is from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Howell is a member of the American Dental Association®, the Kentucky Dental Association and the Louisville Dental Society.
Dr. Howell has attended numerous continuing education seminars and continuums during his career, and with his knowledge and experience, he can both diagnose and treat difficult cases. Dr. Howell has advanced training in dental implant treatment, cosmetic dentistry, extractions, endodontics (root canals) and complex restorative cases including full-mouth rehabilitation. Dr. Howell continues to attend the courses which allow him to be abreast of current dental treatments.
In his spare time, Dr. Howell enjoys tennis, running, biking and raising his golden retriever. He as three grown, children, two living in Louisville and one living in Ann Abor, Michigan. Dr. Howell is a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in St. Matthews
